Chanel launched her first fine jewelry in the early 1930s. In contrast to her sleek and subtle clothing, her preference in jewely was bold and theatrical, well suited to that of Fulco di Verdura who created some of Chanel’s most recognisable jewelry.
On the Beladora website you will find this smooth and mellow Chanel ring – one of her Matelasse (or ‘quilted’) Collection, a diamond and pearl ring c.2010 in a bombé design. The 18K yellow gold lattice work is set with diamonds, and cultured pearls of various sizes are set in the spaces between.
The ring is signed Chanel and is for sale at a price of $7450 at the time of writing. You’ll find further information on ring size, weight and other details at Beladora.
