The Glow Of Opals In A Hand Made Mid-Century Bracelet

A glowing opal bracelet, hand made mid-century, is gently alive with the colour of 30 white opals set in 14K yellow gold.

The opals are accented with graceful curving lines of platinum set with round brilliant cut diamonds. They twine around pear-shaped cabochon opals reminiscent of leaves, and round cabochon opals set in a cluster around the central marquise-shaped opal.

The red, green and blue play of colour in the opals is softly fiery. The diamonds  are F-G colour, VS1 VS2 clarity. The bracelet is signed with the artist’s name ‘Casbah’. The ring measures 2-1/8 inches in diameter. Approx. Weight: 28.40 Pennyweights.It 

It is recorded as sold by Live Auctioneers for $3,600 with the top estimate: $4,000 – $6,000.
